Native Movement is a combination of ecstatic dance and yoga. It is a shifting movement fundamental to self-love, self-expression, & self-healing. No dance experience is required. We each have our own unique, instinctual, wild and NATIVE movement within us. Each individual will set their intention and establish their release to create a practice rooted in connection, authenticity + embodiment. Native Movement helps us to align with our core desires to create the life we were meant to live!
There is more to that booty than looking good in your yoga pants. We don't always give them credit but our glutes create stability in a lot of yoga poses. Your booty should always be considered in your practice because strong glutes create stability in hips, low back, and knees. This booty burning flow will bring awareness to the balance of strength and flexibility of the back body.
An all levels Ashtanga class with Andrew Eppler, the person who brought Ashtanga Yoga to Oklahoma. Andrew will speak briefly about the foundational elements of this influential style of practice and then lead an Ashtanga Vinyasa style class that everyone can enjoy.
A vinyasa flow class focusing on stepping into your power and connecting deeper to your own inner teacher. This is an all-levels class that challenges you to not worry what it looks like, but rather what it feels like. Come prepared to move, breathe, sweat, and get a little vulnerable while finding a deeper connection to your most authentic self.
A Vinyasa Flow class to focus on the fascia using trigger point release to create a sensory explosion both in the body & mind. We will target common areas of tension and utilize the fluidity of the practice and myofascial release techniques with tennis balls to hydrate the body, giving our muscles greater capacity to fire more efficiently. Not only can this type of practice reduce pain and increase range of motion, but with the incorporation of props we will also experience a natural down regulation of the central nervous system leaving you in total bliss.
Smoothie bowls are what they sound like, but much more fun than you would think. You can create pretty much any combo of flavors that you want and top it with your favorite goodies. Come experience the easiest and healthiest way to turn a smoothie in to a meal with Natural Grocers' Nutritional Health Coaches!
Loud music serenades the yoga poses and the poses express the music. It’s the perfect marriage of sound and body. All levels and yoga styles will fall into rhythm with the expertise of Nicole’s instruction. She has been leading this out of body, into the beat , blast of a class for over 17 years and it is epic. Students are guided with “tight cues” to get them where the music is going and right on time. Call it “cardioyoga”, call it “Yoga Rocks!”, call it “happy hour yoga”, call it “the best time in yoga” because it is all those things. Expect to hear classics and top 40. No dance experience is necessary. No yoga experience is required, in fact, it is better to come raw. Students with no experience have nothing to hold them back from fully embracing the moment, the shift, the dynamic and creativity of this non-traditional yoga experience. Yoga experts come one, come all.
At our core level we all desire to be seen, loved, and heard. While communication is easy for some authentic relating and connection is an even higher level of conscious awareness. These kind of relationships we find through self-awareness, lead us to wanting more. And prompt us to ask the question, why aren't we seeing one another like this all the time?! How we communicate defines how we relate to others and when done through your heart and current desires, we can begin to remove our masks and allow ourselves to be fully seen without fear or shame. Authentic Relating Game Night in OKC will be a growing community where you are able to show up as you are, with zero expectation. You will have the opportunity to shed layers and patterns while having fun, and connecting with like-minded individuals who desire growth. As well as, being reminded to honor your own strong YES or NO. Through group games and one-on-one interactions, we have the opportunity to lean into our edge, together!
Sara will present information about how yoga and meditation
practices influence the brain, and how these changes lead to decreases in
stress, depression, pain, and anxiety. She will also discuss how these
changes can lead to enhanced cognition. No prior knowledge of the brain
This full-spectrum practice is for the people – just as you are!
